What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address and mobile number, the contents of your order, and the outlet you ordered from. We do not collect or store your card number — that goes directly from your browser to Stripe.
Why we collect it
To send your order to the right kitchen, to let you sign in, to show you your order history, and to contact you if there is a problem with an order. We do not sell your information.
How we sign you in
We use your mobile number to send a one-time code by SMS through Twilio. Your session is held in a cookie that JavaScript on the page cannot read, which reduces the risk of it being stolen by a malicious script.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered into a field hosted by Stripe and are never sent to or stored on our servers. If you choose to save a card, Stripe stores it and we keep only a reference to it plus the brand and last four digits so you can recognise it.
Who we share it with
The restaurant you ordered from, so it can prepare and hand over your order; our point-of-sale provider, so the order reaches the kitchen; Stripe, to take payment; and Twilio, to send your sign-in code. Each receives only what it needs for that purpose.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and dispute resolution. You can ask us to delete your account and personal details at any time.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Your cart and selected outlet are stored in your own browser and are never sent anywhere except as part of an order.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.
